Well you know the french do electro their own way, starting with daft punk and lately being overrun with non stop Edbanger EletroClash blipness, but there's a new trend emerging thats apparently even cooler than baguettes: Tecktonic!
You gotta check out this video on youtube of a Kitsune single by Yelle called 'a cause des garcons' (because of boys). 
The dude dancing in the video is Vavan, the supposedly best dancer of the tecktonic scene in 2007. So what is tecktonic... its uprocking meets popping meets metrosexual meets Belgian jumpstyle. For french speaker's there's also a documentary on the style here. Needless to say everyone awaits with baited breath to see what happens next, does Edbanger and Kitsune embrace it? Does it fade out as quickly as it comes? Do the frenchies realise that acting metro and yet thinking mullets are cool just doesnt work? We'll let you know what happens next....
